Larry Sonksen
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW, ACSW
Larry understands that relationship challenges often run deeper than the present circumstances. When partners repeatedly engage in behaviors that upset each other, there is usually more at stake than meets the eye. He helps clients break free from these recurring cycles and discover new solutions to old problems.

With over 30 years of experience, Larry has dedicated his career to assisting couples, individuals, and families in overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals. His post-graduate training in marriage and family therapy has been an invaluable resource in his work. For the past 26 years, he has specialized in couples therapy, premarital counseling, and marital assessments. Additionally, he enjoys working with individuals struggling with depression, panic attacks, and anxiety, finding joy in helping them recognize their strengths and gain victory over their challenges.

Larry and his wife conduct marriage intensives together, where her female perspective adds a powerful and insightful dynamic to the process of strengthening and restoring relationships. He takes a strengths-based approach, which clients find both refreshing and effective. In addition to his clinical work, Larry has shared his expertise on a broader scale by presenting at national conferences.
