With over 35 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Western Michigan University specializing in marital therapy and anger management, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are: marital and premarital therapy, sexual dysfunctions and sexual addictions, domestic violence and anger management.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Larry has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of "Prerequisites for an Emotionally Intelligent Marriage" and "Emotional Intelligence: Key to Managing Anger in Marriage."
Larry is an interactive, solution-focused therapist who focuses on individual and relational strengths. His therapeutic approach is to provide clients with practical insights into their issues, to help them unlearn old dysfunctional behaviors, and to practice new methods of thinking and acting to enable clients to effectively address personal life challenges and relational issues. In addition, Larry and his wife help individuals explore their individual wounds from the past and clarify how they contribute to relational issues in marriage and family relationships.
